Who is Colder Products Company?

Colder Products, a Dover company, has manufactured quick disconnect couplings and pipe fittings since 1979. Colder couplings were originally custom designed but later found to work well with a range of plumbing applications, from medical equipment to food processing. Colder’s innovative couplings and pipe fittings allow you to connect and disconnect flexible tubing quickly and safely.

Colder Couplings Uses:

  • • Medical: surgical, dialysis, blood pressure
  • • Industrial: ink printing, biohazard detection, portable water systems, engines
  • • Chemical: pharmaceutical manufacturing, soap dispensing

What to consider when looking for the right Colder coupling:

  • • The flow your application requires
  • • The inner and outer diameter size of your tubing
  • • Your application’s temperature range
  • • Your application’s maximum pressure
  • • The type and size of the coupling or the type of valve
  • • How the coupling will be mounted

CPC Couplings Series

Colder Products Company offers a large selection of couplings—here are a few details to help you narrow down your search:

APC: Features couplings with valves and a plastic thumb latch for fast installation and fewer leaks

  • • Mates with EFC couplings
  • • Tubing sizes: ¼" to 3/8”

BreakAway (BAC): Provides fluid protection and allows you to detach quickly without equipment damage or leaking

  • • Tubing sizes: ¼" to 3/8”

BQ45GL Bottle Caps: Includes a quick disconnect coupling with a cap to seal the bottle and a hydrophobic packaging vent, polyethylene gasket and hose barb for safe fluid handling

  • • Tubing sizes: ¼" OD

CQH: Designed for applications that require high purity and compatible to a range of chemicals

  • • Tubing sizes: ¼" to 1”

DPC: Non-valved, compact coupling with a thumb latch for simple connection and disconnection

  • • Tubing sizes: ¼" to 3/8” ID

DTLD: Features a thumb-latch for one or more than one connection at a time

  • • Mates with PLC, PLC12, and LC inserts
  • • Tubing sizes: ¼" to 3/8” ID

EFC12: Suited for harsh environments because of its chemical resistance and valve with high flow capabilities

  • • Tubing sizes: ¼" to 3/8”

FFC35: Durable structure that works well in demanding applications; features a non-valved bore that increases water flow

  • • Size: 3/4”
