Beverage lines in restaurants (and bars, concessions, convenience stores, etc.), such as those attached to soda or beer dispensers, are known for the development of beverage line sludge, commonly known as "sugar snakes"’. These "snakes" are grown from sugary overflow from the dispenser that drips down and forms in the beverage drain line. These waste material are firm in substance, like a squid, and can be up to 27 feet long. They are so thick that they completely fill the drain line preventing the passage of any water. Typical drain products have little effect on eliminating the snake.

How to use MegaMicrobes Beverage Line Cleaner
Applications of BLC should be made daily and best used immediately before a period of minimum drain usage, such as right before the closing of an establishment. The beverage line cleaner should be diluted 1 part cleaner to 10 parts water prior to application. The diluted solution should be applied at a rate of three cups (24 ounces) per inch diameter of the drainage line. Users may also apply undiluted BLC through a timed meter at a rate of 2.5 ounces per inch diameter of the drain line.
