The Veolia Osmonics Desal DK-Series is a family of proprietary Thin-Film RO membrane elements that are characterized by a molecular weight cut-off of approximately 150-300 Dalton for uncharged organic molecules. They are an excellent choice for food related applications that require stringent sanitary procedures, such as lactose desalting, deacidification and demineralization of whey or UF permeate. These membranes feature a selection of feed spaces, Durasan* Cage patented outer wrap, and polysulfone parts.
