The Swift Green SGF-W01 Refrigerator Filter is made of eco-friendly coconut shell carbon block media. These cartridges are easy to change and replace with their quick change design. The SGF-W01 reduces chlorine taste and odor, sediment, dirt, rust, and VOCs, as well as contaminants such as lead, cysts, asbestos, benzene and mercury by up to 95%. Swift Green SGF-W01 refrigerator filters should be changed once every six months and have a 2500 gallon capacity for chlorine. This cartridge has been industry certified to NSF Standard 42 & 53.
