These cartridges are easy to change and replace with their quick change design. These filters are built to last and can withstand thousands of water pressure cycles. The SGF-FP48 reduces chlorine taste and odor, lead, cysts, turbidity, asbestos, atrazine, alachlor, lindane, mercury, toxaphene, and benzene. Swift Green SGF-FP48 refrigerator filters should be changed once every six months and have a capacity of 300 gallons. This cartridge has been certified to NSF Standard 42.
