The 880-005 is a close nipple that is 3/4" long and is a fully threaded MPT fitting. This schedule 80 PVC fitting is designed to connect two female fittings leaving very little of the nipple exposed. The connection of this fitting is 1/4" MPT and it is recommended to use a nipple wrench for tightening and loosening to avoid damaging the fitting.
