This Rebed Kit has everything you need to rebed your water tank or filter to maintain fresh and clean water. Granular Activated Coconut Shell Carbon is a natural material derived from coconut shells, activated by steam and other means. Carbon is very popular due to its superior level of hardness; high activity level, trihalomethane removal, and longer life expectancy. Gravel-14 is used in commercial tank re-bedding as a top layer of gravel. A unique property of Gravel-14 is that it is naturally clean making it a key component for large aquariums.
