The Q-Series cartridges detach from a permanent head with a twist of the wrist. Polyphosphate separates hardness, preventing precipitation and formation of deposits. It also forms a protective coating against acidity and alkalinity. The phosphate cartridges are used to prevent scale deposits and precipitation for applications including ice machines, coffee makers, distillers, hot water heaters, evaporators, steam generators.
