The Omnipure Q5348 Calcite Filter is a 6" combination in-line filter consisting of a coconut shell GAC and calcite. This filter can be used in many different applications for the purpose of correcting low pH levels. This post filter reduces sediment, bad taste, odor and chlorine. The Omnipure Q5348 increases pH levels by re-mineralization. The calcite is a mineral which dissolves in acidic water which will neutralize the pH.
