When pressure is absent, the internal O-ring remains in a relaxed position. As pressure increases, the O-ring compresses into the seating area to regulate flow. If pressure decreases, the O-ring expands accordingly. This dynamic adjustment mechanism enables the restrictor to maintain a stable flow rate under varying operating conditions.
