This Kerick PF06 Oval Float Ball is 4" in diameter and 5" long. It is made of polyethylene for resistance to corrosion and to deterioration from sunlight, is molded in one piece to resist leakage, and has 1/4"-20 female threads.
This item is a part of a complete float valve, and is intended for use with 3/4" to 1" inlet float valves and a 12" 1/4"-20 threaded rod.
Specifications:
Float valves use a rod and float ball attached to a valve shutoff lever to control flow in or out of a tank. The float ball rises or falls with the level of liquid in the tank, changing the angle of the valve shutoff lever. When the angle changes sufficiently, the valve opens or closes. Float valves are used to automatically regulate the level of liquid within tanks in a variety of applications, such as fountains, livestock water tanks, cooling towers, and chemical manufacturing plants.
