The John Guest Speedfit Union Tee push-fit fitting quickly connects three equal sizes of PEX or Copper pipe. Push the push-fit fitting fully onto the pipe and twist the plastic nut clockwise to lock in place. To disconnect, unlock the nut by hand and push the collet towards the body of the push-fit fitting and pull the pipe to release. The Speedfit tee is up to 40% faster to install than traditional methods and is easier to use in confined spaces by removing the need for hot works and tools.
Features:
- Instant push-fit connection
- Install and uninstall in seconds without tools
- Safe flame-free installation, with no hot works, glue or flux
- Grip & Seal collet with stainless steel teeth and main O-Ring seal
- Twist & Lock mechanism secures fitting and adds compression
- Non-toxic, resists corrosion and no scale build-up
- Compatible with Speedfit PEX and polybutylene plastic pipe (inserts required) and copper pipe
- Suitable for hot and cold water and central heating systems
- EPDM O-Ring
- Requires Pipe Insert or Superseal Pipe Insert to prevents over constriction of pipe from compression fittings
