The John Guest appliance tap allows isolation of appliances such as a washing machines or dishwashers for maintenance or installation. Simply push the valve fully onto the pipe and thread the appliance hose onto the valve. To disconnect the push-fit end, pull the collet towards the body of the push-fit fitting and pull the pipe to release.
The appliance tap is quicker and easier to install in confined spaces than traditional methods as it eliminates the need for tools.
