The General Hydroponics GH1532 pH Down Liquid Quart is designed to lower pH in the nutrient solution of a hydroponic system. The solution is made out of phosphoric acid. Nutrient pH solution should be slightly acidic, with the ideal pH for most crops being between 5.5 and 6.5. The GH1532 solution allows gardeners to easily adjust the pH in their nutrient solution by adding a little at a time of the up or down solution.
