The Doulton W9120562 Sterasyl Candle is a highly efficient ceramic micro filter which provides genuine sub micron filtration of drinking water. Sterasyl is manufactured with the highly consistent and controlled pore structure necessary to remove a wide range of water borne contaminants over the life of the cartridge. These elements have been made in accordance with NSF protocols for cyst, bacteria, turbidity, particulate, and chlorine reductions (Class 1).

The incorporation of silver locked within the ceramic structure inhibits the growth of bacteria and gives each cartridge enhanced bacteriostatic and self sterilizing properties for safe handling and cleaning. Absolute filtration 0.9 µm. (0.5 µm. ANSI standard).

The W9120562 Sterasyl Candle is ideal for Katadyn pressure & drip filters and other gravity fed filter applications. Doulton gravity filters offer 2 to 8 times the flow rate of their non-gravity fed filters.
