The PurTest® COMPREHENSIVE SCHOOL KIT contains enough material for 30 students to complete 8 tests each plus 3 tests for the teacher to demonstrate to the class.
Features:
- Build simple models of the hydrologic cycle and a water well.
- Identify how water acquires acid rain. Includes the same bacteria test used by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
- Test for lead in water in 10 minutes. Detects lead down to the EPA-safe standard of 15 ppb (parts per billion).
- Identify absence or presence of pesticides based on the EPA standard for safety.
- Identify absence or presence of nitrates, nitrites, hardness, pH, alkalinity, chlorine, iron, and copper in 30 water samples.
