This water-storage tank is produced with 100% virgin PE resin (which exceeds requirements for rainwater collection- it meets FDA specifications for potable water). The light-weight tanks can be rolled into place by hand and installed on any flat, firm, level surface. The dark, opaque color is a surprisingly effective camouflage them blend in with the environment and helps prevent water-borne algae growth by blocking sun light. The tanks are UV stabilized and will not break down under harsh outdoor weather conditions. Maintenance-free and made-to-last! Tanks are pre-installed with: Female threaded 1.5” top-inlet, 2” lower-outlet. Standard 16” threaded manway.
