Description
The Heavy Duty Sediment Prefilter Kit is designed for use with UV disinfection water systems, providing sediment filtration at the point of entry. The included dual-gradient polypropylene filters provide filtration from 50 microns down to 5 microns, helping reduce sediment and turbidity before water reaches the UV treatment system.
Kit Includes:
- (1) 20" Big Flow heavy-duty filter housing with 1-1/2" inlet/outlet
- (1) stainless steel mounting bracket
- (4) 5/16" x 1" stainless steel lag bolts
- (4) 1/4" x 5/8" OD stainless steel flat washers
- (1) heavy-duty housing sump wrench
- (1) replacement Buna-N O-ring
- (1) roll of 1/2" x 60" Teflon tape
- (2) 4-1/2" x 20" neoPure MB dual-gradient 50/5-micron filters
Note: Fittings and an inline ball valve are not included in the 1-1/2" configuration. The system should be plumbed with a bypass.
