The Tuf-Tite 16-inch Riser Safety Pan (Model: 16-RISP) is an auxiliary component designed to sit within the riser stack, providing an additional layer of security and serving as a form for secondary lids.
Features:
Dual-Purpose Design: Primarily functions as an internal safety barrier to prevent accidental falls into the tank if the main lid is removed.
Casting Form: Can be used as a "form" to cast a custom-fitting concrete safety lid.
Height Extension: Adds approximately 3 inches of height to the riser stack when installed.
Material: Made from heavy-duty, UV-resistant high-density polyethylene (HDPE) or polypropylene to resist corrosion and outdoor exposure.
Compatibility:
Fits Tuf-Tite 16-inch diameter risers (TT-16-RIS and TT-16x12-RIS) and tank adapter rings (TT-16-TAR).
Accepts Tuf-Tite 16-inch domed and flat lids on top.
Installation: Can be cast directly into a concrete tank or placed anywhere within the riser stack.
Color: Typically comes in green to match the rest of the Tuf-Tite riser system
