The ASV-ERP shutoff valve is designed to pair with the permeate pump, particularly in low water pressure areas (generally less than 40 psi static water pressure). The purpose of of this automatic shutoff valve is to enhance the performance of the permeate pump system. Examples of low water pressure sources are a well water supply or gravity water supply.
