The Kenmore Water & Air Filter Kit (KEN9690KIT) includes 1 Kenmore Clear 9690 replacement water filter and 1 Kenmore Elite 9918 replacement air filter. The water filter will remove lead, asbestos, mercury, cysts, VOC's, chlorine taste and odor. The air filter features a carbon-based charcoal which is excellent for odor control. This air filter is 15 times more effective than baking soda for odor reduction.  Both the water and air filters need to be replaced every 6 months for maximum performance.
