Parker TrueSeal Kynar Thermoplastic FittingsPolyvinylidene flouride, or PVDF,  is also known as Kynar which is a high fluorocarbon that has excellent abrasion resistance, dielectric properties, and mechanical strength. Kynar is also highly resistant to wet or dry chlorine, bromine, and other halogens, alcohols, strong acids, aliphatics, aromatics, and chlorinated solvents.

Kynar can be used for high purity water, pharmaceutical manufacturing, chemical processing, chlorine, solvents, and UV sensistive chemicals.
