The Doulton SS-2 Gravity Filter System can be utilized with the 7" SuperSterasyl (W9121200) or Imperial SuperSterasyl (W9121302) ceramic elements.
- Slimline 2"x7" SuperSterasyl candles - 10 gpd for each filter candle
- Imperial 2.75"x7" SuperSterasyl candles - 14 gpd for each filter candle
The bore of the SuperSterasyl candle contains granular activated carbon to reduce organic chemicals and improve the color, taste, and odor of drinking water. The element is suitable for gravity and low pressure systems; it is not recommended for high pressure (high flow rate) systems. Pressurized systems should utilize ceramic candles with a carbon block like the Ultracarb.
