* RO-4 / RO-132 / ROT-4 is the Standard Size RO Tank for most RO systems.
One of the pitfalls of using an RO system is the capacity of the RO storage tank. RO Water Tank Holding Capacity is dependent on INLET water pressure to the tank and the RO tank air pressure. Typically the RO Tank Capacity is 50% of the Total RO Tank Volume (empty). Many popular systems come with RO tanks with storage and the capacities that range from 4 gallons to 25 gallons RO tanks and up. One of the easies ways to extend the available filtered water is to add an additional RO water storage tank.
Options to increase Reverse Osmosis Water Tank Storage Capacity:
Tee a line to a second tank of any capacity - must have the same precharge as your existing tank
Remove the existing RO water tank and replace with a larger tank of your choice
