SharkBite® Contractor Kit Tool Box

The SharkBite® U4008LF Push-to-Connect Brass Coupling is designed to join piping together without the need of soldering, glue, tape, or clamps. As you insert the pipe into this push-to-connect fitting the stainless-steel teeth clamp down tightly while the built-in O-ring compresses ensuring a leak-free seal. If the U4008LF polybutylene conversion coupler needs to be disconnected simply slip the disconnect tool behind the collet firmly and the fitting will disconnect. Unlike many plumbing connectors, SharkBite® fittings can be rotated after assembly to make installation quick and easy. Conversion or transition couplings allow the user to transition from polybutylene pipe to PEX, copper, CPVC, PE-RT, or HDPE pipe.
