JACO Nylon Fittings With Ferrule Nut
JACO uses only the toughest nylon for their fittings. Nylon 6 is a strong, abrasion-resistant material with excellent impact resistance. JACO nylon is extremely versatile and is most widely used in thermoplastics. The maximum pressure rating for these fittings is 50 PSI. The temperature ratings for these fittings are between -40° F to 250° F. Nylon naturally absorbs water so it is best used in dry conditions. JACO nylon fittings have good chemical resistance to organic solvents, oils, hydrocarbons, and fuels. Nylon 6 is both FDA and NSF listed.
The ferrule nut system used in JACO fittings seals by forcing the ferrule nut into the tubing wall to create an interference seal. This ensures a leakproof seal and makes the fitting resistant to vibration.
