The charcoal for Swift Green Refrigerator Filters is made from coconuts. Coconuts offer a renewable and sustainable source for charcoal and are grown in over 80 countries in the world. The husks and shells are used as the source of charcoal. Activated carbon that is manufactured from coconut shells is considered superior to bituminous coal carbon.
Swift Green Filters utilize a superior type of plastic compared to other filter manufacturers.
