GE Desal RO (Reverse Osmosis) Membrane Elements

GE Desal RO membrane elements feature a spiral design that are used in RO applications to purify water for drinking water, boiler feed-water, seawater desalination, rinse water and water reuse. GE Osmonics are highly efficient membranes produce high-quality product water from virtually any water source including surface water, tap water, well water or seawater. Our GE Desal RO membranes are fully resistant to chemical and pH swings, ensuring maximum productivity and the highest mineral separation in the industry.

In residential applications, GE Osmonics RO membranes are used to purify varying qualities of saline water. In a common application, the appropriate RO membrane element is housed inside a pressure vessel that accepts inflowing, pressurized saline feedwater. Crossflow filtration across the membrane then divides the flow into two outflow streams: the cleansed permeate feed and the concentrate or reject stream.
