How to Find the Right Harmsco Pool Filter Cartridge:

1. Acquire the dimensions in inches of the pool filter cartridge you want to replace. For added accuracy measure the length of pool cartridge along interior edge from end cap to end cap. Measure the outside diameter and if the cartridge is open
2. measure the inside diameter.
3. Determine the media material (polyester, polypropylene, cellulose, etc.) of the pool water filter.
4. Establish compatibility (see Harmsco Pool Filter Compatibility Charts).
5. Determine if the pool filter housings have a single or multiple* cartridge housing. *Multiple filter housings have springs that can allow for some slight variation in lengths. Otherwise, if you are dealing with a single housing, another filter cartridge may not fit.

1. Compare the competitive cartridge to Harmsco® cartridges, noting that measurements are indicated as follows: length x outer diameter x inner diameter. Then keep the following in mind:

• Single length Harmsco Pool filter cartridges are available in 9-3/4” x 2-3/4” x 1-1/16” and 10” x 2-3/4” x 1-1/16”.
• Harmsco media is polyester or polypropylene, and the end caps are plastisol or urethane. Harmsco pool filters center cores are PVC or polypropylene.
