Aqua Pure AP RO5000 Filters
AP RO5000 Aqua-Pure reverse osmosis AP RO5000 filter cartridges every 4 - 6 months to see if they need replacing, and your APRO5000 membrane every 2 years.

NOTE: If you are replacing a 9-12 gpd Membrane Module with an 18 gpd Membrane Module (TFM-18EB), you will need to remove the  Red Stealth Flow Control tube (SFC) and replace it with the 1/4" OD x 24" section of green tubing (Part# TUB4GR-002). The TFM-18EB has an internal check valve and an internal flow control. The amount of Rinse water sent to the drain should approximate 3 times the amount of Purified water produced. To remove the Red SFC Tube:

  1. Remove the existing encapsulated membrane module with the Red SFC Flow Control Tube and replace with the Encapsulated Membrane Module with the Check Valve and Flow Control.
  2. Discard the Red SFC tubing from the old membrane and replace with the 1/4" OD x 24" section of green tubing into the drain port.
