Components | Description |
Sediment Prefilter | Stage 1 sediment pre-filter screens out dirt, sand, rust and other microcopic particles 15 times smaller than a grain of sand. |
Carbon Prefilter | Stage 2 activated carbon prefilter reduces elements that cause water to taste and smell unpleasant, including the taste and odor of chlorine. Carbon prefilter removes chlorine to protect the TFC Membrane. |
RO | Stage 3 reverse osmosis membrane filter squeezes out dissolved substances, including radium, lead, arsenic, and many others. |
Polishing | Stage 4 polishing filter is a second activated carbon filter that polishes the water to make sure that it is crystal clear. |
| Once a year replace the Sediment Prefilter, Carbon Prefilter, and Polishing Filter | |
| Every 2 to 3 years, also replace the RO Membranefor the WRO-3167 & WSRO20-T systems. | |
