10" BB Pentek RFC-BB Radial Flow Carbon 25 mic Filter Features:


RFC Series cartridges are constructed with a 25-micron porous polyethylene outer shell and durable polypropylene end caps. The 2-3/4" OD cartridges have a polypropylene core and the 4-1/2" OD cartridges incorporate a spun polypropylene core. Sandwiched between the outer shell and the core is a bed of granular activated carbon (GAC).

  • Replacement Filter for Omnifilter BF7, Culligan HD-950, Ace 4956, Ace # 48169 & fits most other 10" Big Blue Filter Housings
  • Unique radial design reduces release of carbon fines in filtered water and low pressure drop commonly associated with GAC style cartridges
  • Ideal for point-of-entry (POE) and other high flow rate applications.
  • Outer shell is a 70 micron porous polyethylene
  • Provides effective chlorine taste & odor reduction
  • BB cartridges are ideal for point-of-entry (POE) and other high flow rate applications

NOTE: The RFC-BB and the Omnifilter TO8 are exactly the same and only have different labels. The RFC-BB will flow up to 5 gpm like the TO8, so if you adjust the the capacity, the RFC-BB will also have a capacity of 15,000 at 5gpm. The Culligan RFC-BBSA is an upgrade from the Pentek RFC-BB. The "S" in RFC-BBS refers to a shorter cartridge life because it is tested for silt and will reduce rust and scale particles with its polypropylene spun 25 mic wrap.  

 
NOTE: Do not use with water that is microbiologically unsafe or of unknown quality without adequate disinfection before or after the system.
