10" BB Omnifilter TO8 Whole House Heavy Duty Radial Flow Carbon 25 mic Filter Features:

The Omnifilter TO8 cartridges are constructed with a 25-micron polyethylene outer shell and durable polypropylene end caps. The 2-3/4" OD cartridges have a polypropylene core and the 4-1/2" OD cartridges incorporate a spun polypropylene core. Sandwiched between the outer shell and the core is a bed of granular activated carbon (GAC).

Unique radial design reduces release of carbon fines in filtered water and low pressure drop commonly associated with GAC style cartridges

NOTE: The RFC-BB and the Omnifilter TO8 are exactly the same and only have different labels. The RFC-BB will flow up to 5 gpm like the TO8, so if you adjust the the capacity, the RFC-BB will also have a capacity of 15,000 at 5gpm. The Culligan RFC-BBSA is an upgrade from the Pentek RFC-BB. The "S" in RFC-BBS refers to a shorter cartridge life because it is tested for silt and will reduce rust and scale particles with its polypropylene spun 25 mic wrap.
