The Microfilter Residential Ultraviolet water disinfection lamp is a great addition to any reverse osmosis or filter system to help reduce giardia, cryptosporidium, coliforms, bacteria, viruses and other biological pathogens . The end cap illuminates to give a visual confirmation that lamp is on. Available in 1/2 gpm and 1 gpm flow rates.

NOTE: Replace UV Lamp every 12 months to ensure UV intensity for maximum protection

Safety and Efficiency NOTE:

Lamp must be wiped with alcohol before placing in service. Bare skin contact with the quartz envelope must be avoided. Compounds from the skin when heated on lamps operating at 600 to 850C will form permanent etching (devitrification) on the quartz surface decreasing UV energy transmission. A contaminated lamp eventually will overheat causing premature failure. Alcohol wipes and rubber gloves are included with every purchase of a quartz sleeve or lamp.
